About Grafton Group

In October 1996, Patrick Lee, alongside his brother Peter and two business partners, Sean Kennedy and Gerry Sheerin, opened Grafton Street Pub & Grill.  A hangout that combined a traditional neighborhood pub's warmth and coziness with a contemporary full-service restaurant, it proved to be exactly what Harvard Square needed at the time. Seventeen years later, Grafton Street is still thriving in its Harvard Square home alongside siblings Temple Bar (1998), Russell House Tavern (2010) and PARK Restaurant & Bar (2012).

Seamlessly tapped in to the Square’s ongoing evolution, the Grafton Group has matured alongside its fellow businesses, institutions, residents, students and visitors while providing a consistently high-quality experience. From culinary and cocktail programs founded in a dedication to locally-grown ingredients to a front-of-the-house experience that is uniquely Cambridge to the individual design personalities of each restaurant, the Group’s thoughtful attention to their community’s needs reads like a love note to Harvard Square.
